New Transformer's Longitudinal and Asymmetric Faults Calculation Based on Additive Process

Longitudinal and asymmetric fault calculation for the new converter transformer is the base of its relay protection and design of automatic device.Based on the normal mathematical model of the new converter transformer and the principle of additive process which can build the network equation,and combined with the digraph of the new converter transformer,this paper amended the correlative contribution of faulty branches to calculate all kinds of longitudinal and asymmetric faults in the new converter transformer according to the types of longitudinal and asymmetric faults.Calculation results validate the correctness of the method designed by this paper which is of universal significance in solving all kinds of the complicated longitudinal and asymmetric faults calculation problems of transformers.
