Control Strategy Simulation of Grid-connected/Grid-disconnected Seamless Transfer of Energy Storage Converter in Microgrid

Energy storage device and converter oversee the power exchanges when the microgrid is connected to the grid and guarantee the power supply of the local sensitive load when the microgrid is disconnected from the grid. The inverter's control model is established under the grid-connected and grid-disconnected state respectively,and the control strategy of grid-connected/grid-disconnected seamless transfer is studied. Interms of active disconnection,a smooth transfer strategy is proposed. In regard to passive disconnection,a transfer strategy based on hysteresis current loop control is proposed which can shorten the transfer process and reduce the transient current impact. If there is phase difference between the grid and the inverter when connection operation is needed,the method proposed in this paper can solve this problem perfectly. Finally,system simulation model is constructed,and three kinds of transfer process are simulated. Simulation results verify the methods proposed in the paper can realize no impact seamless transfer,and can enhance also the power quality for local sensitive load.
