Design and implementation of remote video surveillance system for 220 kV substations

The remote video surveillance system for 220 kV substations reinforces the four-remote function of substation.Its design scheme is introduced.An interface standard with strong adaptabi-lity is designed according to the system features.Each subsystem designs its interface according to it and supplies communication DLL file to video surveillance station.The client control box is developed based on ATL,and its developing steps are described in detail.By calling the commu-nication DLL of each substation,the transparent transmission of image and supervisory data is realized in video surveillance station.
