Relay protection modeling based on high-level Petri net

In order to improve the convenience and accuracy of relay protection modeling,a scheme based on high-level Petri net is introduced.To meet the requirements of protection modeling,a hybrid time colour Petri net(H_TCPN) is established and a three-layer protection model is proposed based on H_TCPN,which uses the concepts of ranking-transformation,void-transformation,time-delay and time-limit to enrich the description of protection system hybridism and time parameters.A hierarchical and visual simulation system of configurable relay protection modeling is developed,which offers an effective modeling tool and simulation means for protection study,with abundant interface programs and open setting environment.Taking Type 11 distance protection as an example,the detailed modeling process is introduced and the model is checked by actual fault recording data,which proves the feasibility and validity of proposed scheme.
