FPGA Design of All-digitized QAM Modulator

The principle of QAM modulation is introduced.An all-digitized QAM modulator supporting 16,64,256-QAM based on FPGA implementation is presented.The implementation of modulator involves the use of DSPbuilder tools which provided by ALTERA Corporation,the design starts with construction of functional modules and RTL-level wiring layout in the environment of matlab/simulink.After system-level simulation and implementation on Quartus II successfully,the project code is downloaded in DE2.All the reliable results point out that the modulator works efficiently,which accords with the an-ticipation.
