Experimental study on characteristic of boiler pressure after flameout under different conditions

Zhao Zhenzhou Jin Baosheng Xiong Yuanquan(Key Laboratory of Clean Coal Power Generation and Combustion Technology of Ministry of Education,Southeast University,Nanjing 210096,China)  
A boiler which runs with negative pressure,burns gas fuel and is equipped with an induced draft fan,is build to study the characteristic of pressure.Tests were performed under four conditions(fast tripping fuel,ramp tripping fuel;closing the valve of air inlet as fast tripping fuel,and tripping the induced draft(ID) fan as fast tripping fuel).The results show: after fast tripping fuel,maximum negative pressure is created in 0.3 s,and the biggest pressure changes take place in furnace in whole system;the longer the time used to shut off the fuel,the smaller the maximum negative pressure;while tripping the power of induced draft fan as the fuel is shutting off,the fan is still sucking the system,the maximum pressure created in furnace is not decreased because of tripping the ID fan.
