Substructure method for dynamic response analysis of site with circular diaphragm wall

Using a substructure method,the dynamic response of a project site is analyzed,in which a circular diaphragm wall with a super-large diameter is built.First,the basic principle of substructure method is introduced briefly,and how to select master degree of freedom(DOF) is also discussed.Then,an equivalent linearity method is applied to consider the soil nonlinearity,and a program based on substructure method is compiled by parametric design language in ANSYS for the dynamic response analysis of the soil site.Finally,the finite element model of the soil site with the circular diaphragm wall is established,and the dynamic response of the soil site is computed by using the whole analysis method and the substructure method,in which three selection ways of master DOF are adapted.Through comparing the results obtained from the two methods,the rationality and effectiveness of the substructure method are verified.The numerical results show that selecting master DOF rationally in substructure analysis can greatly improve the calculation efficiency while ensuring the precision.
