An Improved Autofocus Searching Algorithm and its Implementation

The procedure of auto-focusing is to getting the maximum of the focusing evaluation function employing searching algorithm.Traditional mountain-climb searching algorithm is apt to disturbed by local extremum of focusing evaluation function,and its focus speed is low when focus motor deviate from the right position seriously.This paper describes an improved auto-focus searching algorithm that can get rid of this disturbance effectively and greatly improved the focusing speed when focus motor deviate from the right position seriously.
