Summary of Excavation of Tenghualao Site, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province

Nanjing Museum Administrtive Committee of Cultural Relics in Lianyungang Lianyungang Museum  
:The excavation of the Tenghualuo site in Lianyungang, Jiangsu covers an area of 4,000 sq m, the drilling area amounting to more than 300,000 sq m. We discovered more than 200 remains such as city sites, tablelands, house sites, ash pits, ash ditches, ditches, rice remains of Longshan Culture as well as moat and ash pits of Yueshi Culture. besides, we unearthed more than 2,000 jade, stone or pottery wares and hundreds of carbonized rice grains.
