The pre-research on bone flutes and bone whistles are always from key that,as one kind of the musical instruments,the bone flute and bone whistle are the symbols of the level of music at that time.From the discoveries of the prehistoric bone flutes and bone whistles at China and other foreign countries,by the comparing on the ages,the types and the materials,the analysis on the development and the remarkable preference of some representative bone flutes of China,we try to explain the information of society from the bone flutes and bone whistle.
