Inhibitory Effects of Nano-TiO_2 Loaded Pd on Cyanobacteria Growth

The inhibitory effects of nano-TiO_2 and Pd-loaded nano-TiO_2 of Cyanobacteria growth were studied.The results revealed that Pd-loaded nano-TiO_2 could damage the cystises of Cyanobacteria under sunlight.Compared with nano-TiO_2,Pd-loaded nano-TiO_2 could more effectively cause the chlorophyll content,photosynthetic rate and respiration rate and SOD activity of Cyanobactria to decline and the superoxide radical(O~(-·)_2) to increase.This study proved that the optimal Pd rate of Pd-loaded TiO_2 should be 1%.
