ISSR Analysis of Chinese Seabuckthorn and Russian Seabuckthorn

The genetic diversity of Chinese seabuckthorn and Russian seabuckthorn was analyzed by ISSR.96 loci were detected with 13 primers and 95 loci of them were polymorphic.On the genetic polymorphism of individuals in the populations,the female and male of Russian seabuckthorn had the highest polymorphic loci percentage(75%),then the female of Chinese seabuckthorn(59.83%) and the male of Chinese seabuckthorn(58.33%).The genetic polymorphism from the Nei and Shannon showed that the male of Russian seabuckthorn was the highest,then the female of Russian seabuckthorn,followed by the female of Chinese seabuckthorn and the male of Chinese seabuckthorn was the lowest.The Russian seabuckthorn is the hybrid of Mongolian seabuckthorn and Middle Asia seabuckthorn,so it had high polymorphism,the Chinese seabuckthorn had low polymorphic because of its simple population.Genetic distance between the female and male of Chinese seabuckthorn was nearer,the female and male of Russian seabuckthorn was also nearer.Genetic distance between the native species and external species was longer.
