Indica-Japonica Differentiation and Genetic Variation of Yunnan Glutinous Rice

Indica-Japonica differentiation and genetic variation of 60 Yunnan glutinous rice(Oryza sativa var.glutinosa) varieties were analyzed by 28 InDel markers and 24 SSR markers,respectively.The results of Indica-Japonica differentiation by InDel markers showed that 24 were typical Indica,6 were Indica,2 were Japonica and 28 were typical Japonica.SSR genetic structure analysis showed that the Indica and Japonica glutinous rice could be separated into two groups obviously.SSR genetic variation analysis showed the genetic variation of Indica and Japonica glutinous rice was both high and with no significant difference between them.The analysis of molecular variance(AMOVA) indicated that 76% genetic variation existed within subspecies and 24% between subspecies with significant difference at 0.001 probability level.
