Geo-security Awareness of the Construction of Contemporary Maritime Silk Road

Contemporary construction of Maritime Silk Road,because of geographical intentions like traffic situation,geographical target,key areas and production-capacity cooperation etc.,has caused a complex awareness,tests and challenges on the geo-security.The tests include the East China Sea issue,the South China Sea and Taiwan issues,also include land and sea regional coordination,the board sea or ocean escort issues.The Challenges involve different relationship problems like geo-security consciousness and political mutual trust,choice of key shipping lines and regional link from countries along the Silk Road,geopolitical interests concerns and power capacity matching,security dilemma and people-to-people connectivity etc..This paper holds that the current construction of Maritime Silk Road deals with the above-mentioned geo-security issues.It is necessary to assess the geographical conditions and powers scientifically,to follow the geographical rules,to wait for an opportunity to practice according to own strength,to reuse and development human's talents,to cooperating with land,marine and air force and to foster popular feelings and cultural identity etc..
