Research and Experiment on Tilting Burners

In this article, the test results of a tilting burner with short nozzle on a cold model, in a pilot plant and under actual operating conditions are presented. The flow properties of the short-nozzle, the effect of burner tilting on the steam temperature of the boiler, the operating characteristics and reliability of the tilting burner itself have all been the subjects of research. Concrete suggestions are made on certain constructional details of the tilting burner with a short nozzle.
