Three Dimensional Calculation of the Heat Transfer in Utility Boiler Combustors

Monte-Carlo solution is presented in the paper for the three dimensional calculation of heat transfer inside the combustors consisted of inclined walls. Random point spray model and DPE interative algorithm have been used in calculation to improve accuracy and reduce time. Heat transfer calculation of a 400 t/h boiler manufactured by Shanghai Boiler Plant is made with this method. The results well agree with that of experimental test.
