Experimental Study on Diagnosis Pulverized Coal Combustion by Flame Monitoring

The art of pulverized coal combustion diagnosis by flame monitoring was studied experimentally. First of all, the spectrogram of the flame was obtained with a monochrometer to deterimine the chromotographic coordinates of the flame by quantitative calculation,and herewith detect concentration variations of pulverized coal in the flame. In this way, flame signals under stable as well as unstable states of combustion can be spectrally assessed. This method can practically be applied in combustion monitoring and management systems. Figs 8 and refs 8 .
