Experiment and Numerical Simulation Study about Gas Solid Flow in the Louver Pulverized Coal Concentrator

The mature turbulence and particle trajectory models have been applied to calculate gas solid flow in the louver pulverized coal concentrator, and combining with experiment, a lot of analyse and research works were done in this paper. Simultaneously, plenty of gas and particle movement features and separation mechanisms in the louver were put forth. Comparison of the calculation results with the experiment reveals good agreement. The conclusions obtained by calculation and experiment in depth demonstrate concentration mechanism of concentrator and separtor mechanism of common louver separator.Figs 10 and refs 9.
