A Pulverized Coal Combustion Technology for Resistance to Water Cooled Wall High Temperature Corrosion and Industrial Experimental Study

Based on the analysis of water cooled wall high temperature corrosion in tangentially fired boiler of large power plant, a pulverized coal combustion technology and a horizontal bias combustion pulverized coal burner with side secondary air (HBC SSA burner) with strong resistance to water cooled wall high temperature corrosion has been proposed, which has horizontal bias separation, stage combustion in single nozzle, and can improve the combustion two phase flow field by regulating the “rigidity” of primary air jet. Through its application and industrial experiment in 300 MW tangentially fired boiler, the HBC SSA burner has been proved with advantages of strong resistance to high temperature corrosion and slag, high combustion efficiency, low pollutant emission and good flame stabilization in low boiler load. Figs 2, tables 3 and refs 12.
