Discussion on The Mechanisms and Factors of The Gas Side Hign Temperature Corrosion in Water Wall Tubes for Coal Fired Boilers

ZHAO Hong, WEI Yong (Dept. of Energy Engrg., Zhejiang Univ., Hangzhou 310027, China)
Because the emissions criteria for environment protection become more restrict and the coal fired boilers have alrger capacities and higher parameters, the high temperature corrosion of water wall tubes is found so frequently as it affects the safe and economical operation of the boilers. In this paper, the varieties and its mechanisms of the high temperature corrosion are discussed systematically, based on the domestic operation experience and our study on the high temperature corrosion, several factors which affect the corrosion are also analyzed in detail. This article is helpful for settling the high temperature corrsion of water wall tubes of coal fired boilers. Figs 3, table 1 and refs 14.
