Test Research on Powdered Coal Burner with Guide-Plate

In this paper, model tests on gas solid two phase flow and temperature field at the exit of powdered coal burner with guide plate and in furnace are carried out by using cold model test and numerical test methods, which lead to a series of calculating formula and reference data for engineering. The using of test results on slagging proof retrofit of a 300MW unit get good results which provide an effective way to solve slagging problem of large scale power plant boiler. Figs 10 and refs 10.
