Numerical Simulating for The Swirling Jet Two-Phase Flow from Pulverized Coal Rich/Lean Burner

The experimental and Numberical study of the swirling jet two-phase flow from Pulverized Coal Rich/Lean Burner is carried out in detail, the RNG-ASM Model and FCFSRT model by authors is applied to. Numerical simulating educes the velocity distribution and the concentration distribution of pulverized coal, and show good agreement with the experimental results. And then comparative numerical simulating for the swirling flow with rich pulverized coal or lean pulverized coal show combustion mechanism of Coal Rich/Lean Burner. At last, the research indicates the mixed area of pulverized coal from the rich and lean spout of burner. Figs 10 and refs 6.
