Numerical Model and Simulation of The Heat Recovery Steam Generator

The numerical model of the heat recovery steam generator is essential in analyzing dynamic character of an advanced combined cycle. This paper mainly emphasizes theoretic modeling and simplifying of each components of the heat recovery steam generator in the advanced combined cycle. Dynamic character of the heat recovery steam generator is numerically simulated when gas output temperature of gas turbine and adjusting valve of steam turbine are changed. The result of simulation is analyzed as well.
