Realtime Fault Diagnosis and Monitor Model of Slagging for Pulverized-Coal Fired Boilers

Slagging of watet walls heavily affects the operation of pulverized coal fired boilers. Slagging degrees of the water wall surface can be detected by measuring the temperature of rear fin end and the radiation flux of flue gas. But it is difficult to measure the radiation flux.This paper constructs a one dimension temperature model of furnace used for on line diagnosis to get the radiation flux, and constructs a realtime diagnosis and monitor model for slagging. The simulation results show that this model can exactly describe the temperature distribution in the scope of application with high computation speed and high real time ability. The diagnosis result is good and practicable.Figs 7,tables 4 and refs 9.
