Research on the Heat Balance Calculation of the Tri-Sectional Regenerative Air Preheater

ZHOU Junhu,YANG Weijuan,JIN Yantao,ZHOU Zhijun,CAO Xinyu,CEN KefaZhejiang Univ., Hangzhou 310027, China)  
It is presented the heat transfer models of the trisectional regenerative air preheater and the calculating flow chart. The paper defines the heat transfer coefficient and the temperature difference in order to shield the heat calculation from the calorific receptivity and the mass of the rotor. Not only the method has enough precision for heat balance calculation but also it is fit for the online monitor of the fouling status. It is also analyzed how the calorific receptivity of the rotor influences on the heat transfer of the air preheater. Figs 5, tables 2 and refs 5.
