Research on The Dynamic Process of Ash Deposition in Boilers with Heat Flux Probes

With an eye on the slagging property of high alkali containing fuel, which coal blended with black lignor of paper mill, is self manufactured water coolded heat flux probes were used together with electronic probes in industrial tests for analyzing purposes. The opinion is advanced that ash deposits consist of three different layers——parimary, first and the secondary layers. Their macroscopic appearance,; microcopic structure and microcopic element analysis are being discussed. This will prove to be useful in researching fouling and slagging machanisms in boilers. In addition, with the help of data acquisition iustruments, ash temperature signals can be collected, with heat flux probes for mastering dynamic changes in heat flux density with proceeding fouling and slagging effectively monitoring the latter's development and optimizing soot blowing, and therefore be come ueful for engineering testing and analyzing purposes. Figs 7, tables 3 and refs 8.
