Study on Principles of Acquisition and Application of Information Signals of Radiation Energy in Furnaces

Changes both of coal charge quality and quantity in power plant boilers can rapidly be reflected by flame images. The principle of acquiring such informations and their quantification has been analyzed in the course of dealing with them. The practical application on a 300MW power plant boiler shows that furnace radiation signals can rapidly reflect changes in combustion rate, and it is feasible to use these signals as the principal firing command signal for building up a coordinate control model and thus join the set's load control.
