Advances in Research on Combustion Characteristics Involved in High Temperature Air Combustion Technique

High Temperature Air Combustion(HTAC) is new combustion technique,notable for both being energy saving as well as environment beneficial,and is praised by combustion circles of being one of the 21~(st) century combustion techniques with the best prospects.The basic kinds of HTAC systems as well as their mechanism of combustion are being discussed and the main points of working principle explained.A systematic review of the present state and attained advances of research on HTAC combustion characteristics,from the aspects of ignition,temperature distribution and emission of pollutants(NO_x),is presented,accompanied by an exploration concerning further research work to be done.Figs 12,tables 4 and refs 15.
