Dynamic Behavior and Control of Reheated Steam Temperature

A simple calculating formula of reheater dynamic behavior was presented.Based on the reheater structure and thermal parameters,the dynamic behavior of reheated steam temperature,about some temperature control modes such as burner tilting,gas damper and gas recirculation and water-spray disturbance,were analyzed.When main control mode can't be put into automatic opelation,two auxiliary temperature control methods of single stage attemperator,twin lead/lag single-loop control system and ordinary single-loop control system,were proposed.For the ordinary single-loop control system,raising the ratio between the controller's differential time T_d and its integration time T_i to around 0.6~0.8 can overcome the great time lag of reheater attemperating water control,ensure the system be stable and satisfy the requirement of reheater running.
