MULTILEVEL GLIDING DETACHMENT IN SOUTHEAST HUBEI AND ITS CONVERGENCE-CONNEXION RELATIONSHIP WITH MULTILEVEL GLIDING DETACHMENT OF TONGBAI-DABIE MOUNTAIN

The Mufushan is situated on the south border of Jianghan basin,and Tongbai-Dabie mountain on the north border of Jianghan basin. The architecture of the two mountains is anticlinorium, which consists of Proterozoic-Archean as core, and Palaeozoic and Mesozoic as limbs. The structures of them are characterized by the multilevel gliding detachment and thrust. The structures of Mufushan thrust or slided from south to north, directed toward Jianghan basin, the structures of Tongbai-Dabie mountain thrust or slided from north to. south, directed toward the Jianghan basin too. Therefore, thrust-nappes or gliding-sheefs of the two opposite mountains converged and counterconnected each other in the Jianghan basin.
