GEOLOGICAL ANOMALY AND MINERAL PREDICTION

The geological anomaly is a quantitative and intensive concept as it is proposed upon the geological settings. It can only be determined by quantitative analysis based on the comprehensive qualitative investigation. The valuable geological anomalies for ore-finding formed before or during mineralization and they are the ore-forming anomalies. Applying entropy, fractal and geostatistics, the paper makes an analysis of the geological anomaly of ore-forming conditions in Western Yunnan.
