METALLOGENIC CHARACTERISTICS OF SUBMARINE EXHALATION-SEDIMENTARY Ag-Pb POLYMETALIC DEPOSIT IN YINDONGZI AREA, SHAANXI PROVINCE

The Yindongzi sedimentary Ag-Pb polymetallic deposit in Shaanxi Province is a superlarge-scale comprehensive Ag-Pb-Cu-Zn metallic-precious metallic deposit, and is high in economic value. The present paper studies its metallogenic paleo structures, paleogeography, and rocks, ores, mineral compositions, trace elements, rare earth elements and Pb-isotope of ore-bearing, and compares it with some submarine exhalation-sedimentary Pb-Zn ore deposits in other countries. The study and comparison indicate that the Yindongzi Ag-Pb polymetallic ore deposit shows some very similar geological and geochemical characteristics to those in other countries, and was formed by combination of normal marine sedimentation and exhalation-sedimentation.
