SOIL COLUMN EXPERIMENT ON NITROGEN POLLUTION OF GROUNDWATER FROM OVER_BURDEN USE OF CHEMICAL FERTILIZER IN VEGETABLE FIELD

For the study of the influence of nitrogen pollution on groundwater due to over_burden use of chemical fertilizer in vegetable field, the simulation experiment on two soil columns is done. The conclusion is that 72.08% and 47.44% of the total amount of chemical fertilizer go out from the columns. The experiment process can be divided into three stages according to the experiment data. First, the NH + 4 coming from the chemical fertilizer is adsorbed by the soil of columns, while K ++Na +, Ca 2+ and Mg 2+ of the soil are exchanged and go into seepage water; Second, the nitrification is strong. The increment of the NO - 3 mass concentration of seepage water is much larger than that of injected water; Third, the intensity of the nitrification becomes weak. The increment of the NO - 3 mass concentration of seepage water is smaller than that of injected water.
