KINETIC MODEL OF HYDROCARBON RE_GENERATION FROM LATE PALEOZOIC COAL, NORTH CHINA

The research on the kinetics of coal samples from 0.53% to 2.11% of R o collected from coal_bearing formations in Late Paleozoic sequence, North China, shows that kinetics parameters vary from high to low, and then to high again with maturation. The kinetic models are proposed in this paper. It is believed that stages of hydrocarbon re_generation from coal exist in North China, and the models are different from stage to stage. After primary hydrocarbon generation, if the vitrinite reflectance is about 0.7%-0.9%, the re_generation peak will come in advance. When the reflectance is between 0.9% and 1.3%, the re_generation peak will be delayed. When the reflectance is higher than 1.3%, the re_generation peak will be the same as that of the initial generation.
