A STUDY ON DISPLACEMENT CHARACTERISTIC OF DUAL ANISOTROPIC MEDIUM AND PATTERN ARRANGEMENT OF WATER FLOODING DEVELOPMENT

Dual anisotropism is a basic characteristic of porous medium. It has an effect on the flow of reservoir fluid and oil and gas production. This paper takes 5-point-pattern as an example and uses numerical method to study the displacement characteristic of dual anisotropic medium and the pattern arrangement of water flooding development. The displacement process of dual anisotropic medium is not isostatic. The injected fluid advances optimizingly along the direction with the increase of permeability and makes the oil wells in this direction initially contain water. If the positions of water injection wells are adjusted according to the permeability ratio, the initial water appearance of oil wells can be controlled and the displacement process of reservoirs can be equilibrium.
