New resolution of reserves calculation for abnormal high pressure and sulfur bearing gas reservoir

Gas reservoir mass balance equation can determine original gas in place,and is an important method for reserves calculation in gas reservoir engineering.abnormal high pressure and sulfur bearing gas reservoir may form sulfur precipitation in production process,affecting the accuracy of reserves calculation result by mass balance method.Considering the influence of hydrogen sulfide on production of abnormal high pressure and sulfur bearing gas reservoir,this paper performs a new derivation and verification for original mass balance equation,and indicates that new mass balance method,i.e.unary linear regression method should be used to calculate gas reservoir reserves.With the increase of hydrogen sulfide,the longer the selected data corresponding the production period is,the more accuracy the calculated reserves is.
