Effect of fault on the process of super heavy-oil reservoir formation of Shu 1 Block in Liaohe Basin

Liaohe Basin is a rifted basin formed in the middle Cenozoic,faulting was the main tectonic movement of the basin.Through the research of the evolution history of rift system of Shu 1 Block of this basin and the analysis of the effect of fault on the process of super heavy-oil reservoir forming,it is believed that,on the one hand,fault played the role of the barrier bed,forming fault screened hydrocasbon reservoir of Xinglongtai oil formation;on the other hand,at the time of destroying primary reservoir,the fault had played the role of oil and gas migration channel simultaneously;after secondary migration of oil and gas,there developed Guantao oil Formation secondary hydrocarbon reservoir.
