PRESSURE DROP CALCULLATION OF HORIZONTAL SECTION FOR HORIZONTAL WELL PRODUCTION

According to the borehole geometry of horizontal well,five kinds of inflow section where fluids flow from reservoir to horizontal section were given.Based on pressure drop calculation formula of single flow in horizontal tube,pressure drop calculation formula are inferred for five kinds of condition.Examplecalculation shows that,in whatever way the fluids flow into horizontal section in various forms,total pressure drop along horizontal section is smaller than that total flow consumes through horizontal section.If total pressure drop is smaller than one kPa,the pressure dorp of horizontal section is negligible in the system analysis of horizontal wells.
