PRE-CENOZOIC MARINE RESIDUAL BASINS

LIU Guang ding (Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Acdemy of Sciences,Beijing 100101,China)
According to tectonic evolution of China's land and sea we deduce that China has wide distribution of Pre Cenozoic marine cabonate. Being extruded and reconstracted it exists as residual basins and still has rich oil and natural gas which can be explored by prestack depth migration along with geophysical methods. This begins an new era in oil and natural gas exploration.
