Geophysical Methods to Detect the Hydrous Stratum of the Underground Water

SHI Kun-fa1 QI Hong-bin2 WANG Yun1 (1. Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100101,China; 2. Department of Materials, China University of Geolosciences, Beijing 100083, China)
The significance of studying the hydrous stratum was first introduced in the paper. And then the key problems were answered. The correct method to detect the stratum's hydrousiry is to study the physical properties of rock and choose suitable geophysical survey. Secondly, various electric methods were introduced, including the principles, instruments and applicable range and conditions. For the specialty of deep underground water exploration, a detailed technique was provided. Finally, a important note was preferred for decreasing the indeterminists of geophysics. That is a combination of some geophysical methods must be applied.
