A new direction in NMR logging——The application of T_1 measurement in LWD NMR

Currently CPMG T_2 logging in all wireline NMR logging tools has been the industry standard.With the development of hardware of logging and the limited use of wireline logging in horizontal or multilateral wells,the tech of NMR logging while drilling has greatly promoted.Motion-insensitive T_1 measurement,with lower energy consuming,has successfully used in commercial logging services.It highlights a new direction for NMR logging development.
