Exploring orientation and type of structure trap in Bohai bay basin:an example of Jiyang depression

CHEN Jie~1,ZHANG Xue-cai~2(1.Guangzhou Marine Geological survey,Guangzhou 510760,China;2.Shengli Oilfied of SINOPEC,Dongying 257022,China)
The paper proposes a new medel for the oringin of Bohai bay basin. It undergoes three stages: initial compression—alternately extension and compression—later period sustained splay.Under the guidance of this model authurs talke Jiyang Basin as an example to sum up its geological processes, struccture trap and the meaning of petroleum geology. Finally a favourable way of oil exploring in the basin is pointed out.
