The study of exploring major minerals on the lunar surface with multi-angle polarization technology

ZHAO Li-li, ZHAO Yun-sheng(College of Urban and Environmental Sciences,Northeast Normal University,Changchun 130024,China)  
In the process of reflecting,scattering and transmitting electromagnetic wave,earth targets can produce polarized characteristics which related to the nature themselves.Multi-angle polarization technology is a widely-new method of detecting objects.The objects' polarization information in the whole 2π space is used in this technology.This paper focuses on physical mechanism of multi-angle polarization technology.Results indicate that it's feasible for detecting lunar by this technology.At last,prospective development and applications of multi-angle polarization technology are discussed.
