A method of analyzing the present crustal movement and the mechanism of strong shocks

We have discussed the basic theory of coupling movement between the crustal deformation and density change,and studied the gravity change with time raised by this coupling movement.The fault dislocation and movement is a special form of the coupling movement between the crustal deformation and density change.Using the repeat gravity date from the western Yunnan Earthquake Prediction,we have inverted the slip distribution of the main active faults with time from 1985 to 2002 based on the robust algorithm,and studied the response characteristic of strong shock,and obtained the picture of the strong shock preparation process with different type.
