3D Upscaling method of heterogeneous fluid in porous media

In this paper we have given a new upscaling method,i.e.if there are not resource or sink in the coarse grid blocks,the 3D solution of the fine grid blocks has been obtained by solving 3D fluid equations in porous media with direct method,and then the effective permeability of coarse grid blocks has been computed by the 3D solutions.We have also calculated the pressure distribution of the 3D heterogeneous fluid in porous media using the effective permeability of coarse grid blocks.The results show that the solutions of 3D upscaling method of 3D heterogeneous fluid in porous media are very approaching the solutions of adopting fine grid blocks,however,the computation speed of upscaling method is 100 times more than that adopting fine grid block method.
