New progress on geodynamics of slab deep subduction

Global seismic tomography results with high resolution show that the slabs may have complex forms,which indicates the complicated process of geodynamics.Here,we collect main factors which influence slab subduction and reasonable views on geophysical scenarios related to slab subduction,such as earthquake,volcanism,and back-arc deformation,and discuss geodynamic settings of Cenozoic volcanism in NE China,which may be different from common volcanism related to subduction.
