Analysis of crustal movement characteristics in the China mainland by high precision repeated measurements of GPS network

YAO Yi-bin(School of Geodesy and Geomatics,Wuhan University,Wuhan 430079,China)  
With the high precision repeated GPS observations,the multi-quadric equations interpolation method is used to establish the speed field model of China mainland crustal movement.The valuable present-day horizontal and vertical crustal movement velocity images are obtained.The background field model of China mainland in ITRF97 frame is also computed by GPS velocity observations.The local background field model is largely consistent with Europe-Asia tectonic plate′s Euler direction and the spin rate provides by some global background field models such as NNR-NUVEL1A model,Sillard model and Larson model in the magnitude and the major tendency,with which we can analyze the characteristics of crustal movement in the China mainland.
