Application of seismic refraction and resistivity for exploration of reservoir dam site

Based on a case study of an exploration project of reservoir,this paper introduce how to select method and technological parameters according to the geological and geophysical characters and the principle of seismic refraction and high density resistivity.And expatiate the effect of investigating thick of covering layer,weathering zonation of base rock,position and dip of fault structural belt,and other engineering geological problem using shallower seismic refraction and high density resistivitty.
