One-dimensional forwand and prospecting depth for airborne frequency domain electromagnetic method

The airborne frequency domain electromagnetic responses and relative anomalies are computed for half space model using EM1DFM.The results show how the conductivity,susceptibility,flight height,configuration and separation influence the electromagnetic response,and imply the prospecting ability and condition of the airborne frequency domain electromagnetic method.This paper also puts forward a way to determine the prospecting depth by the 3-layer model.The prospecting depth will achieve 120 m for horizontal coplanar with the transmitter and receiver separation of 8 m,and flight height of 30m and noise level of 3~4 ppm.
