3D numerical modeling of resistivity with surface topography by the finite-difference method

The finite-difference method is one of the most commonly used geophysical numerical modeling methods,.In this paper we use the method of transforming curved grids mapping the fluctuating surface topography into horizontal surface topography and derive the basic equation of the stable electric current field of the reference frame after mapping.We use the finite-difference method to model the equation after mapping.By modeling the topography of a 3D-valley and 3D-ridge,we can analyse the influence of the topography on the equipments.The result shows that the fluctuating surface topography has a great influence on the stable electric current field.
